Instead of just “sustainable,” could our buildings have a net positive impact on their communities?

Every project I am approached with, comes with a story. Sometimes it’s a very apparent story, sometimes it takes a little digging to get to it, but there’s always a story.

The story is the most important part, it’s the “why” of our project.

“We want our home renovation to be Net Zero energy.”

“We’d like our new home to be our sanctuary, away from the stresses of the outside world.”

“We’d like more access to nature from our living space.”

These stories aren’t just fluffy architectural narratives, they’re our north star, and often help reframe and right size decisions we make about the form and function of our project. As a designer, my purpose is to interpret your story and help create your vision.
